Alarms??

Hello again,
I am a bit stuck on what alarm to put on my MCC.. The standard one is ok nothing wrong with it, but wanted a bit more!!

So do you think :-

- Proximity alarm (starts warning anyone before they slash the hood?)
- One of them Text or ring your phone ones? (but i guess the person has already damaged the car to get in?)


- Tracker?

or something else? I think the proximity one sounds like it does what I want it to, but heard they are always going off by mistake?

Any thoughts would be a help!! Once this is sorted I can work on the ICE!

We tried proximity ones but gavee up on them cos of false alarms.
Tracking or anti car jack systems are the way forward

Well on my scooby I had tracker and and an anti hijack system which disabled the car about 100 yards after unauthorised drive off. Dont forget home/personal security. Even with the above I had 4 males visit our house to try and obtain the keys.

Oh right so proximity alarms gave you trouble?? Is there a different make that doesn't give false alarms? or is that the nature of the system?
