Hello

Can anyone let me know the price of road tax for a facelift mini cooper, can't believe I've almost had my car for a year! Geeeee!

mines due tomorrow and is £68.75 for 6 months or £125.00 for a year

Is this for the facelift. as i know its slightly higher for facelift cars?

I though the facelift cooper was higher too - is it £160??

well mine last year was £125 dont know what this years is?

I've just paid £165 road tax on a 2003 cooper Auto, but I think thats because its higher on Automatics than manual cars.

Oh im not sure then, mines an 03 model, i thought it just went on the cc of the car. sorry for any confusion!

It works on the emmissions not cc anymore. This changed in March 2001.

You should be able to check your cars emmisions and tax rate on the DVLA website

http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/

Use the "vehicle enquiry" part.
You can also buy your road tax online too

Road tax is based on the official CO2 Emmission Figure for cars registered on or after 1st March 2001.

My 52 Cooper is in Band D ( 151 - 165 CO2) currently £125.

Band E (166 - 185) is £150 and Band F (over 185) is £165.

These are all for petrol cars.
