Have a new 2005 /S - that over 55mph makes a very loud inside wind (maybe an air leak?) noise - is this normal - sould I beable to hear road wind?

It's the top vent in the dash! Turn the aircon dial to a different setting.

Scared me too during the drive home from the dealer!

I guess it's a MINI thing because mine does it also. The lodest seems to be 3 & 4. The quietest is 2, 1 & 0.

But now that the nice weather is here, i've got both windows and the sunroof open.

We don need no stinkin blower.
