MINI PIX - Old and new together - MINI Cooper Forum

I've seen a few pix here and there of minis and MINIs side by side but thought I'd post a couple I took yesterday. If anyone else has some how about posting?

Depending on the angle you can make either car look smaller or bigger as you might see in my pix..

Very nice pictures. And you got matching colors too!
I like how you got the classic mini look bigger than the new Mini in the second pictures.

I see a classic mini on my way to work every morning. Albeit, going the opposite direction. I should see if I can attract the driver's attention and maybe get together and take some pix.

As I was taking these pctures I half expected that the owner would run out of a shop yelling " get away from there you heathen!"

That brings back memories. That was the week after the Cooper was released int he UK (not the one), at a track day BMW organised down the road from me.

The Cooper S was still in the distant future, but that was being driven by the then boss of the Oxford plant.
