Increased MINI Sightings I've definitely had a marked increase in the number of MINIs I see on the road everyday, here in the Mid Atlantic states, during the past month or two. For the past year, I've seen maybe one or two MINIs a week during my normal driving time, and it was a big deal to see another MINI in a parking lot and actually have a chance to talk to the owner. During the past few weeks of Spring, however, I've suddenly been seeing 2-3 MINIs a day, just during my daily driving. I know production is up and this is the time of year when people like to buy new cars (especially convertibles), but this seems like it's a few orders of magnitude greater than the past. Are they all just coming out of the garage for the sunny weather? Has anyone else noticed this?

Good to hear. I was on my way to the dealer, driving my loaner MCC, and I saw an MC, and two MCS on the road. We all got choked up in traffic, BUT we were all able to make better progress than the rest of the hoi-poloi by judiciously letting each other change lanes and pick the best route through four lanes of 5-10 mph slow movers on the beltway. A lot of fun, and a blow for MINI Solidarity! The more MINIs on the road, the better!

Exactly, as long as they don't get lost in the 3.5 million pick-me-up trucks sold in the U.S. each year! Seriously, it's been a noticeable increase in the past few weeks, sort of like a solution reaching saturation...suddenly, they're everywhere!

You know.....I had to go into town yesterday and boy, did I see a lot of MINIs here in Paris.....of course since I live in the sticks and work at La Defense which is on the western edge, I don't see that many of them but in town there are a LOT of them and a fair number of them are the S kind. Of course, I also believe there are more original MINI's in France than there are in england and they most definetely outnumer CV2's and R-4's like 100 to one.......As I was on my bike I had to refrain from waving, though I almost talked to a lady with a georgeous black Cooper convertible.....she was way to young and cute though......

Now, why don't I think of these things....?????? Cap is a little tough on a bike in ole France, no helmet, go to jail (do not pass home) but a T-shirt.....that is the ticket.....MINI store, here ah comes.......also MY OTHER CAR IS A MINI stickers would be nice......
