Depends if Harry does a runner.

I think it's quite sad Saints are down. They're like part of the furniture.

We better! Can't have the Islanders doing really well in the Premiership!

Nah knew we were going down and wouldnt have wanted to see that....I heard one guy talking in the video shop (who attended the match) where I worked yesterday saying that he had never seen so many grown men crying!

A quote from Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric " Alain Perrin arrived with seven games left and we were safe with three to spare. Harry Redknapp went to saints with 22 games left....."

Weren't Portsmouth like quite a few points above the drop anyway already before he arrived?

We may have gone down, but we got the cleverer fans!

Do you know what's funny Mini Poser?? You live in New Milton - Guess what? The original Milton is in Portsmouth and another thing Fratton Park sits on the parish borders of Milton and Fratton.

Yeah, that must have been something else. It would be hard for Americans to understand this feeling, although I have seen men crying after their team lost the NFL Super Bowl. However, in U.S. football, or any other league for that matter, there is no relegation. So, no matter how bad you are, you are still around for next season.

Tough stuff.

With just a bit of bad management, relegation, or indeed premature promotion, can kill a club.

Depends how they tighten the purse strings. With a brand new ground to pay for, Saints MUST get promoted next year, otherwise they will get into a debt spiral.

However, if they throw a lot of money chasing promotion, and then fail, they could go out of business all together...

Its a killer blow for a club with a large squad, brand new ground, and a chairman who can't keep his feckin nose out of football matters.....

At the end of the day, Saints have been playing on borrowed time for several seasons. It was bound to happen one day, now its about seeing if the parachute is large enough to stop the plummet.

The Saints are a magical club with an equally touched history. I can't see them spiraling into oblivion. Managers and players alike should feel something for them and work to help them out for the love of the team, community, fans, and the game itself.

For this alone, Harry has got to stay!!!
