If you’re not visiting Le Mans this year why not join MGs-on-Track at Cadwell Park for a trackday. The deadline for the reserved places has now expired so we’re opening up the day to other clubs. We are primarily looking for people who want to bring their road legal cars and drive under the usual trackday rules (ie passing each other by consent) with other driving enthusiasts, many being in their everyday cars. This is a sessioned day at Cadwell Park (Club Circuit) on Monday 13th June being run in association with the Lincolnshire Centre of the MG Car Club (MGCC). It's £115 for MGCC and MGOC members and £125 for non-members.

We're always looking for suitable clubs to share these days and as I have an MCS I thought I'd see if anyone would be interested.

Would have been interested but am already going to a track day on 6th June (Castle Coombe) so 2 in a week would be too much....

Would BMW Mini's get a friendly welcome at a MG track day?

Yes, I generally limit myself to no more than one track day a month although it's two this month

BMW Minis would be offered a friendly welcome, I've turned up a few times in mine to help out and people have been disappointed that it wasn't going on track. It's still a car that's manufactured in the UK so most people are happy. You'd have no more banter that I already get from MGB drivers etc for driving an MGF that they believe is not a real MG.

We often share the days with Lotus-on-Track and there's no better feeling than passing an Elise although they're not best pleased but it still only results in friendly banter. Our main objective is to have days with similar powered cars and courteous drivers.
