Offline | Picking a Mini Name I'm new here, and I have seen that many of you have names for your Mini. I wanted to know how you came about picking the name for your Mini. Because I am thinking about what I might want to name mine, MCS BRG/W. |

Offline | Well hello there and welcome! Do you have your MCS? Is it a boy or a girl? My car's name evolved out of her color, EB. Hence the name Electra. If I want to impress people I drop the whole epic Greek poem thing casually into the conversation but the reality was it all came down to the name of the paint. I named her long before I actually had her. Have you been tossing around any names? Life is too short to be miserable. Let's dance! |

Offline | Thank you! And I am not sure, it has yet to be born, (Saving up for a '06), but I will make sure to look under the boot when I pick it up. The name I have been kicking around is Bean, but not because its a Green Bean. Its from the book 'Ender's Game'. Its one of those things. Not sure yet. I have a green Jeep, and his name is Hound. ![]() |

Offline | Bean is a good name. Short, sweet and solid. I haven't read the Ender series by Orson Scott Card so I'm not familiar with the character. I am familiar with it because I work at the library and he's a popular author for the SF/FA readers. I love Hound! That's a great name for a rig. Life is too short to be miserable. Let's dance! |

Offline | That is very true. And I hope i can figure that out when I drive 'it' the first time. I was also thining about the name Dweezle, just because. Or Midori, but only if its a girl. (It means Green) But that one just seems silly. Or maybe Krikkit. But thats just stretching things. How does one pick a great name for something so wonderful as the Mini? ![]() |

Offline | Bean is the smart pain in the **** know it all who is told to come up with plans that no one in thier right mind would ever think to do. He is also picked on a lot by Ender in the start of the book, but becomes his really close friend. Bean goes on to have like 3 - 4 of his own books. Reading 'Shadow of the Giant' atm, the 'Last' of the Bean books. Could be all l33t about the name... b3an.... nah... ![]() |

| Stephanie Jade !! | Mines a girl but i havent named her. When i talk abou her i just say My Baby! I cant find a name good enough! I used to have a fiesta zetec and named her Fifi which i thought was really cool but i think its wrong to use the same name on your first and second cars! Plus, My Baby duzn feel like a Fifi !! If a non mini driver were to read this, they'll prob just think we are a bunch of weirodos!! I think its mad how much love a mini driver has for their car!!! Driving + Mini = FUN!!
