P/X Price Fair or Not

My dealer has offered me £12800 for my Sept 03, 53 reg Cooper S with chili pack and 8000 miles on the clock.

Can anyone tell me if this is a fair price or not.

best way to compare prices it to take a look on ebay, mini cherished and the local autotrader, find a car with you spec and work it out from that

thats seems pretty low for a cooper s if u sell it priavtely probs looking round the 16k mark

From what I've seen here in recent months, trade it in, get stung, or TRY and sell it, and get more money, but that's IF you can sell it. People seem happier to buy from dealers, even second hand, also "good residuals" can make second hand cars unatractive, so people prefer to spec their own new car for not THAT much more.

With all your details, whatcar's valuation says you should get £13865 when you part exchange (or £13615 no exchange) at the dealer; and thats not even with the chilli pack

What dealer did you take it too Hyper?

I would ring around. There can be BIG differences between dealers.
