Help! A Mini Conundrum. (New Owner)

Parked at tesco's, no spaces left, so I abandon it with the hazards on.

Come back to the car with shopping, press the alarm off button 4 or 5 times cos I can't see whether the lights are coming on to show it's open (hazards on). Pressing the alram off button 4 or 5 times opens the windows!!!!

Why does it do this? Is there a way to close the windows using the alarm button too?

That's the comfort opening feature - you can get your dealer to disable it. Unfortunately the only way to close them again, is by putting the key in the door lock, turning & holding it in the lock position until they close again (or close them with the switches inside the car)

What's a comfort opening feature??? Why would I want my windows slightly open when I unlock my car?

How much is the window closing gadget and where can I get it from?

I think the idea of the comfort opening, is so that you can open the windows before you get into the car, to let the heat escape in the summer month's.

You can get the auto closer module from http://www.newministuff.com/new/shop...uctshow&id=185
