United-Kingdom Pot-Holes....

And not the ones people go down into.

Ok, i was driving quite happily along a country road (MCS/IB/W), enjoing the beautiful blurr as the other cars seemed to whizz past, when...... ... Sh*t..... swerve.... Wham "Je**us did you see/feel/hear that pot hole in the road".

I know the MCS suspension is kinda hard, and i had a look around the passanger wheels with thankfully no obvious problems, but what kind of dammage could I expect form conecting badly with a pot-hole in the road?

Any experiences?

MD

I'd call into a tyre depot and get the tracking checked ASAP; this is often knocked out of line by a really hard hit with a pot hole or kerb. They can check the inner sidewalls for damage while they're about it.

A few months ago, we hit a goodie here in So Cal. Gave us both an instant headache.. Ended up having to buy a new tire and the wheel was bent but still usable...

Can any body or frame damage occur from a pot hole? Is there anything that one should look for on the rims or frame that could indicate damage?. And if steering is unchanged, is it safe to assume it's okay?
