Question A few questions

I want more than anything to get a new mini, but I'd like to ask you guys about some things I can't find on the main site or here. If the answers are in the general FAQ, I'm really sorry.
Firstly, does it break down very often? is it very fragile and does it need repair all the time?
Also, what's the difference in size between the different minis? Is either one more safe than the rest?
Does it handle ice and snow on the road very well?
That's it for now, thanks a lot

Slightly less space in convertible plus less usable boot space (but volume is similar)
Safety is the same, but you can specify extra airbags in coupe. DSC (stability control) is an option which helps prevent single vehicle accidents (ie bad conditions, driver error etc.) Of course you could be alluding to the big floundering, unstable petrol wasting behemoth whale trucks are safer than little car argument.
Ice and snow? -OK, Front wheel drive is usually better than RWD, but it's no Land Rover

Firstly, does it break down very often?NO

is it very fragile and does it need repair all the time?NO

Also, what's the difference in size between the different minis? There is no difference except the convertables which are less roomy in the back seats and trunk

either one more safe than the rest? I'd rather be in a MINI than most other cars, it does very well in the Euro NCAP tests.

Does it handle ice and snow on the road very well? Its front wheel drive, so that is a plus, with the right tyres (winter type) it will still outperform most other cars for handling and drivabilty

So there you have it

Oh and its a very very social car, looks great, owners are all nice, looks great, is great value for money , looks great and so much fun to drive Nothing else comes close Did I say it looks great

Then theres the servicing costs, and the fuel consumption
