Offline | This month on Pimp My Mini First off let me say hello to everyone!! I have been reading here for sometime...but do not post much... so here are my three favorite minis I have worked on...that in it's self is a long story...let's just say I love them love cars, working on them as well...and the next thing I knew...I am hooking them up...from performance to looks! so...starting with my own of course... Named after a great family friend Robin "Hal" Patrick was not only a friend, but an incredible race mechanic and classic mini racer... As a young lad I used to watch him crush all the V8 cars on the track by passing them in the turns! LOL he was a great guy and really helped me on the way to the Motorer. He was killed in an auto accident on the way to the races many years ago...and is missed. The stickers are not on there now, as they were only for the shoot/show in vegas... Hal:     Then there is the Skinnee mobile...this one was interesting to say the least buut well worth the effort...heh heh....I am not sure if these have been posted yet.. but if not...the credit for the photos goes to Haf Ruby:     And now my favorite Project to date!! A Girl enters a bar...oh wait...that's another story... So she calls her self Stoopid Girl she tells me, “no one looks at my Mini, I hang out with all these really kewl minis and everyone flocks to them. It’s BRG/B and I just want it to be out standing…..” It went on from there. She had some really neat graphics and that was the key. “… if it was like the graphics that would be fine too…” Personally my favorite part was making the door sills…she didn’t know about that… and it was something that I just had to do… this was definetly one of the hardest but most fun projects to date... I completely disassembled and then put this MINI back together... I now know more about the mini than I ever thought possible... Thanks to Coop, Skinny, and Don @ Elwood Body works for helping the pictures do the paint no justice what so ever...it is a pink candy metalic that has a prismatic flake on top of that...so there is a rainbow effect moves along with the paint flop that goes from a deep magenta to a bright sparkling pink....its really neat... Well, she got what she asked for… after one month of taking the car apart and sanding in 102 degree heat here we have…the Stoopid Girl Mini!! Offline | What gorgeous cars! I want one!! The blue one and the silver one are my favourites - those decals look great. Not quite so keen on the pink - being the manly man that I am - but the occupant makes up for it! Mucho respecto! |

Good to see..I had seen a post on TMM of yours, you have been busy...LOL....I will need stuff from...heh he....right now I am preping to get her as fast as she looks...then I'll go back to the cosmetics... as for NAM ****...LOL..why whatever are you talking about...  Tomasz, aquabubble, thanks...Pink though not my color...delivery day I was driving the Pink mini and it was pretty funny...Got lots of attention from you gals...heh eeehhh yeah High school ....and a few guys put on thier game faces on the approch to the pink mini only to be questioning thier sexuality once making eye contact with me...LOL..it was quite funny... |
