| 1.6 Litres of fury!!!! | I can't believe it. They are saying in the papers around here that this is the biggest win for U.S. soccer since 1930! Also, I think it's kind of funny. Most American's could care less about soccer(I've been playing since I was 5) and think it's boring :duck:, but most Mexican's live and breathe soccer(uh sorry I meant football). ![]() 2002 Dark Silver Cooper S w/ white roof. Offline | Let us get past the Germans first. But those of us who pay attention, it was a fabulous effort by the American side, wasn't it? I'm thrilled. (Not so thrilled with the 2:20am start time on the East Coast, but oh well) Still looking for a Union Jack antenna ball . Have to make do with a Jack in the Box ball until then.BRG/White Cooper with Performance and Sport Packages. |

Offline | I've been keeping up with the World Cup and I can honestly say that after that loss to Poland, I expected Mexico to tear us apart. Oh well, you never know in the World Cup! Really sorry to see Ireland lose. I've got some heritage there! Cheers, Mike "As cunning as a fox named Cunning...." |

Offline | Was worth staying up for, but pretty tired this morning. Especially impressive as the US footballers are so lightly supported here. The whizbang jocks are drawn to the many more lucrative sports here, and so the players have to be so much more self-motivated and dedicated.Getting to the round of 8 should help our program greatly. Probably should tape the games, but its just not the same when you already know the outcome. Cooper S Red/White/White, Air, Computer, Cloth, DSC, Cold Weather. August build. |

Offline | Whoo Hoo! USA! USA! What a great game! I think that's probably one of the best showings Team USA has ever brought to the football field. This team is winning a lot of fans. While most Americans have no idea the World Cup is going on, there's an increasing number staying up all hours to watch the games. Now we have to wait for the Friday to see if we can get past the German Wall. |

Offline | Well Done USA . Slightly lucky with the deliberate handball???? Could have been a totally different match. Shame the Mexicans resorted to such obscene tackling. Now the USA have The Germans . (probably their weakest team for 20+ years) A good chance the states will make the semi final. shame most americans won't acknowledge such a remarkable achievement.... They are missing out on the greatest team sport on the planet! ![]() |

Senegal has its Dioup, Diao and Daf, but Germany has its Olivers: Kahn, Neuville and Bierhoff, and between the three of them it will be enough to end the U.S. streak of luck so far. Germany 2-0. Come on U.S.A. !! In reply to another post, WCF Final is June 30, 4 A.M. U.S. Pacific Coast time (Noon, GMT) |
