Just got back from my first road trip in the mini! Drove down to Keokuk Iowa to visit family this weekend..Its about an 800 mile round trip, 8 hours driving down, 8 back.. And i must say i am impressed with how comfortable the car was on long journeys. I found that i could actually feel my butt after driving halfway and stopping for eats.
. And got alot of weird looks from people around there, in farm country, wheres theres almost no MINIs at all.hehe...The best part about driving it down there was the gas milege, figured it up and got 31 miles to the gallon!!Not bad in my book..
Will have pics when my uncle emails me the pics we took on his digital camera, mine was not cooperating at the time. The mini looks really good with a corn field background for some reason

Took my girlfriend with my and actually let her drive it for the first time to!!
!!!So i told her that it was a huge step in our relationship, what with me so trusting as to let her drive James and all
Anyway, sorry the long post, thought i would share my impressions on the mini, long term style!
