Question Brake question on MCS

I would like to know what kind of brakes are offered on the 2005 Mini Cooper S and im wondering if they're any good...or should i just shut up and get my hands on brembo brakes...Thanks

same brakes as on the cooper i think, pretty sharp, just right i'd say, the abs may kick in a little early in fast corners but other than that they are very well modulated, i.e. come in gradually, and when you need them hard on they perform.

They're ok for normal road use, but any spirited driving you get brake fade, so I'd day get Brembo.....I know I will be upgrading them.

They're pants when you have a spirited drive for no more than about 4 miles. We have often given it a bit of a spirited drive on some of our local roads which require heavy braking in places, then come to a junction and not been able to stop as well as we would have wished. We get very bad brake fade.

We are upgrading to works brakes as soon as we are able to afford it.

If you drive enthusiasticlly then fade becomes a problem.

the strech of road we get it bad on ray is the road from fosdyke bridge the the back of kirton near the tyre fire after the 2 mile mark the brakes are gone

little bit more saving and the brakes will be sorted
