urgent advice required regarding modded car and tlc!

sorry if this is in the wrong section but i just need quick help!

i have a 2003 MINI Cooper which has been superchipped and has a K&N induction kit.

obviously in theory this invalidates the warrenty but as many people say its only the parts that are affected.

the car is going in early tomorrow morning and i havent mentioned these to them. the warrenty issues should be ok such as a few rattles and loose trim. however im worried about the tlc. i knew this was the case but having just read the tlc terms and conditions it has worried me. it says any engine mods will invalidate the tlc. so if it goes in for its service and they refuse to do it there seems nothing that i can do. i am unable to fit it back to standard as i do not have the parts here.

has anyone had any experience or advice they could give me. id hate to get a ginormous bill but it seems that they are perfectly entitled to do this....

again sorry if this has also come up before or wrong place but this is what MINi2 is for, help in a crisis

thanks folks

Some dealerships can be a bit iffy with Induction Kits whilst others aint bothered at all.... Depends what your dealership is like really. I personally had my have my old ONE Chipped with 57i kit on it and they never had a problem with it...

Technically, you're screwed (technical term), but if you're lucky, you'll be fine.

Vague I know, but that's the way it is!

A "we'll let you know" may not be a "Yes", but at least it's not an outright "No"

I am optimistic that my repairs will be fixed under warranty

I can't see why they should have an issue with this Max, the only thing they could surley pick you up on would be the header tank..
