MINI seat tidbits

Anybody see the "new" seat levers that say PRESS on the top?? Both the right and left side controls are a little different than the earlier cars. I dropped by the dealer today to buy the rear spoiler (having installed next Thursday 6/27) and the EB Cooper S (2 of them actually) in the showroom had the new seat controls. The operation is the same, just now with less confusion . There was a Chili Red/Black roof Cooper S in the back lot with the 16" silver wheels........WOW, ........really like that combo!

Also while I was there, they had a few cars with the Sport Package/sport seats. Unfortunately my dealer is just now getting cars with these options . Anyway, there was PS/B just like mine but with the Kaleido Cloth sport seat option Very, very nice - they look very comfy and snug!

They had a few with the Cold Weather package which I had not seen in the flesh.......

I picked up my MC from Crown this past Friday. It has the cloth sport seats (with heaters!). They are nice and the cloth helps to break up the torrent of black in the interior. Everybody seems to like them and they are comfy! Bill

Good to see other Richmonders on the forums. I have the DS Mini S with white top and sunroof running around. I ran the Battle of the Imports Drag race on the 22nd and won the Stock Elimator event. Just for the heck i also put it in the Car show. Didnt win that but you cant win them all
