Andrew at Bill Jacobs is working on getting mine delivered. Unfortunately, it's 30 days past its delivery date. This delay is killing me, but I realize it's not the dealership. They've been good to me except for this delay.
I don't have one yet, I'm still deciding whether or not I want one. One of my best friends works at Patrick BMW/ Mini, and I see him there often, so its almost, kinda like owning one since I see them all the time. I just wish the S had more power and I don't like the design of the center dash area, I just can't get comfortable in one. Otherwise, I love them, other than an Integra Type-R, it must be the best handling front drive car out there.
Mine is due at Patrick in about 4 weeks. I live in Naper but was not impressed with Jacobs. Although they are 4 minutes from my home, and Patrick is about 35, I prefer the trek to Shaumburg. The guys at Patrick have been great. MSRP and no goofy add ons.
Yeah, I live here in the City too. Im up in Lincoln Square. Although I do not have my MCS yet, I expect it in a few days. The funny thing is there is already someone in my hood with a MINI, so I won't be the first however I got to talking to her (cute!) about the MINI so all is well!
BTW Im gettin mine at Knauz.

The MINI Cooper S
I live in Chicago (Oak Park actually) and have had my DS/Black Cooper S for about 2 weeks now. I usually drive it to work (downtown Chicago) and have not seen another Cooper S yet. Bought mine at Patrick MINI--really good people to do business with. It's weird but---People just LOVE THIS CAR! No problem at all getting together for a Cooper fest.......
