| I have heard varying reviews on additives such as Slick 50. Most of the bad things I have heard were over 10 years ago. Hopefully the issues would be resolved by now. Hopefully someone else can be of more assistance to you. Good luck.  |

| I'd suggest changing it again and putting in the proper MINI-specified 5W-30 synthetic oil (your choice of brand as long as it's a full synthetic.) I doubt there would be any immediate ill-effects, but I wouldn't leave the dino oil in there long-term. His - 04 CR/W MCS Hers - 05 BEP/W MCS |
