| Think it has to do with the date of key production - not whether a car is a Cooper or Cooper S. Later keys have the chromed logo, earlier keys do not? BTW my Cooper S's key (May production) looks like the one on the right. + 2002 MINI Cooper S - Dark Silver / White roof, Sport, Premium, Lapis blue leather + 1965 Mini Traveller - Tartan Red / White roof, 1275, Cooper S discs, fully restored/renewed  |

| It may only be a sticker - but the area underneath is flat - not with the "embossed" MINI logo. It makes the key a shiny happy key...  More importantly, if it's chrome does Monsta have it on his?   |

| It may be, but you can tell it's not placed over top of the original button. Since the original one has texture, and this is smooth. It's not a cheesy sticker at least... it appears almost like it's not a sticker, so I'm thinking it may be like one of those thick metallic-type stickers. | Yeah, the Cooper S demo I drove had the chrome key. I asked the dealer who said it was only a Cooper S thing...  The car had only done 700 miles and the chrome was already rubbing off. My May build Cooper has the embossed logo. |
