Question Phil Wicks Driving Academy - Laguna Seca

Does anybody have any non-partisan views on the beginner's driving academy (http://www.minidriving.com/)? I thought I might head down to Monterrey, Ca on December 14, but I'd love to know if anybody else is planning on going, and whether or not you've heard good things about it. Thanks!

I've read good things on the forums but haven't talked to anyone personally who has gone. I'm signed up for Dec 14. I'll be driving up from Orange County.

Fantastic! I'll keep my eye out for you! I'll be driving a PS w/ black top, and black stripes on the bonnet and boot!

We're coming too. Two cars. We've done the Wicks schools at different tracks in the southeast and want to do Laguna Seca. Anyone else?

There is also a car show and parade laps for anyone who doesn't want to do the track day.

I'm signed up too.

Just made hotel reservations, and the event-priced block of rooms is full. Still some AAA member rate rooms at about $127/night plus tax.

Look forward to seeing folks there!
