ordering 2006 mini cooper

Hi- I am new to this site. I ordered a 2006 mini cooper, but am still a little confused regarding the new checkmate package that is being offered, and the salesman at the dealership was not clear either. I know you can't order the checkmate package until October production of the car, but when I built the car on the website, no matter what color exterior I chose, the interior is shown in the space blue. I have emailed mini, but have not gotten an answer yet. Does anyone know if the interior would be color coordinated with the exterior. That would make more sense to me, as space blue wouldn't look great with the new solar red that they have for example. Thanks

I think you're going to find that US configurator is correct and that you can only get the dash face and door bezels in Space Blue with the Checkmate Package. The other body color dashes are restricted to the Cooper S, but even if you could get these in body color, the seats in the package have blue bolsters and I'm not sure how these would look in contrast to Solar Red.
