Does any one already have the JCW Strutbrace fitted? Apparantly a lot of Strut braces like Whiteline foul on the inner bonnet lining and actually make the bonnet stick up at the back a little higher than normal....

I was wondering if the JCW one did the same?? Dont want to put anyone off... just interested.

Todd

I test fitted a whiteline to my car - and the bonnet wouldn't shut....the bar came off another 03 MCS....and there were no probs there....so who knows....

It would be an absolute joke (albeit not surprising) if JCW's own bits didn't fit on a mini!!

I am interested in both. I just would like to find instructions of how to fit the parts and can delivery to Brissy be arranged before committing to the buy.

Does anyone know of fitting instructions for the brake kit and brace?

Scotty, would I have to arrange my own courier for the parts to Brissy?

Cheers.

Gary.

Gary,

Dealer will ship within NSW; I have shipping prices within NSW - but will go back to dealer tomorrow and find out shipping to Brisbane for you And if they will do it or if you will need to organise it yourself.

Cheers,
Scotty

Would be interested in the brakes if they can fit under my R83 5stars (will need approval, but I'll tell her its a safety feature, to protect the kids)

Just a bit confused, the pic shows red brakes, but the list only mentions rear brake pads So no red brakes on the back

There will be more on this shortly Apparently they will fit under the 16's, but the reason they are not 'officially' backed on the smaller wheel size, seems due to heat dissipation for heavy load work (such as track days).

Which pic shows rear brakes?

I've only seen the pic above, and thats just front brakes showing - you might have seen a UK Challenge car?

Todd

I have the strut brace on mine, while it does sit and touch the sound deadening material, and leave a mark in it, it didn't have any effect on the closing of the bonnet for me

I would add that both of these items are totaly Amazing and the strut brace is the best bit of kit, for such a small some, it changes the feel of the car

Well done on getting a GB sorted Scotty

The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive?

Please put me down for a JCW strut-brace Scotty.

I'll combine shipping with Gary (ZapoMCS) and who-ever else comes on-board from Brissie
