Eh...........no !

Had my car at rolling road yesterday and had a few 400+ bhp Evo 8 guys clambering all over the car asking what's been done etc etc - they also loved the "noise"

I must admit ive just been out on a few appointments and I thought I would really listen to the car and see if it was just me being a muppet. I suppose where I drive in high gears on the main roads the exhuast is quite quiet but when giving it some stick in the low gears it sounds lovely. But I find I have to have the revs up quite high for it to sounds really lous and lovely!!

I think its just me being a muppet, so ignore me!!! LOL

Super c00per - I almost wanted to take mine off at first. Now it's been on for a week, it's so sweet.

Very, very close to stock at idle and just a little deeper - then around 4k revs - KABOOOM!

Finally getting my car back today.

First things first, im going to try and fit the milltek. Although all may fail, and if it does i'm gonna have to pay someone to do it i guess

Double check your original brackets. If they are black and about 2/3 inches long they will need changed, rubber black brackets hanging on a metal thing instead of small rubber red ones connected themselves.

Just check

Thought I should pass on some of the things that would have helped me on Saturday.
Get the car up as high as you can - my car was just up on ramps at the front and a trolley jack at the rear this was just enough but I could have done with much more space. Just getting out from under the car took time. Wear goggles I got loads of rust and some exhaust paste in my eyes but I suppose that is obvious. The biggest problem for me was the nuts that attach the original exhaust to the cat. They were so badly corroded they didn't even resemble nuts. I tried to hack saw them off but ended up using an angle grinder which isn't a pleasent experience with not much space under the car. A little helper would have been good to pass the different stuff to me and save me having to get out and back under for a different sized socket.
It is worth it though and you don't have to worry about someone else making a mess of your new exhaust and car.
Good luck and enjoy once its on

Good advice.

After the place i got mine installed made a mess of it.

For a start they didnt use the specific brackets lohen sent to connect everything together, was hard to get into the right place for me when i had to fix it.

The backbox was hanging about 2 inches below the plastic trim because the wrong brackets were used.

Looking at it after i fixed it i realised I could have done it myself easily.

Just take your time and it will be ok.

I had to buy new brackets shown below. I basically refitted it myself lol

anybody else have to bend one of the brackets on the rear box to make it fit??

mine was wayyy off although once this was done i never had any problems with it being too low. lohen insisted it would need heavily modifing to get the brackets to fit but no such problems!!

sounds awesome now tho

Right - I've got mine fitted!

I've only driven it about a mile back to work so far. I'll have to have a proper play this weekend...

All the best,
Andrew.

Oh yes, definitely worth the wait - I'm going for a nice long drive after the F1 finishes to make sure it's nice and properly run in.
