Just wanted to see what sort of interest there would be for approaching one of the sponsors about a group buy for a Milltek cat back exhaust for the R53 Cooper S

There's a company in Essex that does the Miltek cat back for £350 + VAT... £410 + VAT for fitting too:

Milltek Mini Cooper S Exhaust System for New Mini Cooper S Supercharged 1.6i

What price do you reckon we could get? Of course economies of scale comes in to play...

Forum rules say that Group Buys can only be done with sponsors, though if that company wanted to become a sponsor of MINI2, we might be able to talk

I was speaking to one member who was part of a group buy a while ago, and they got the Millteks for just under £400. I know Milltek have put their prices up recently, so I doubt we'll get it as cheap as that, but I'll let this thread run for another couple of weeks, see if there's much more interest, and then will be in a position to get better idea of prices

EDIT: Baskers, that price doesn't include VAT, so it's nearly £500 when you add that in

Nylo £411 inc VAT for other company... I won't be able to fit this myself... the damn thing would be dragging along the floor no doubt! LOL.

Should we make some enquiries with sponsors - think only MINISpeed and Lohen are suppliers (could be wrong).
