I'm very interested, but want to see the other tip offerings, first.

My MCS is on order for a July delivery, but I would be willing to do some type of deposit in order to get in on the group buy until the new tip designs are shipping. Just need to see the tips.

The group buy we are doing now is for what they have in stock - the current Boxster-style ones... I'm sure a new one can be had later though! We are approaching 10 rather fast... just need 4 more

One or two of you expressed some concern about when we would take delivery. Here is the response I just got:

"Here's the deal. I have 30 coming in tomorrow. 10-12
are sold. I will have the remainder left. I will keep
at least 10 for this group buy if it gets to that. I
imagine if this goes well by tomorrow we will be ready
to roll."

I hope that helps quell some of the concerns...

There is not a LIMIT to 10, is there? Once the order is made, the group can purchase more at the same rate, yes? That is how I can see the Magnaflow group going. Not familiar with the whole group buy mechanism.

I'm not down as of yet. But when it comes to exhaust, this is the one for me.

sounds like several of the people who bought magnaflows are unhappy with them. we might see a few of those people switching to the quieter quicksilver...

First, before I forget, we can do more than 10. But, maybe not much more b/c they will have 20 in stock after today - of which 10 will held just for us!!! If there are a few others, then we can secure them...

With that said, we currently sit at 7, I believe. I'm just very busy at work and know that we are a few short. As MINI-Madness pointed out to me, the cross post on MCO really helped. Guys, to be honest, I never heard of MCO until yesterday. I probably shouldn't admit that, huh

Well, back to MCO, there are about 5 over there that want in. I believe several of them have not come over here to "register" (PM me...). The cross-post was before those directions were provided... So, many might not know what to do in order to join. If any of you are members over there (I will when I can make some time!), please let that thread know. We would have 10+ by the end of the day!!!

Thanks! And also thanks for the Roadfly cross-post attempt. If you had a link to MINI2, they would remove it. That is probably why mine is still there. At least I think it should be...

FYI Randy@mini-motorsport on the MC online forum posted that he will match the $675 price and will lower it for 20 buyers. I've got msg into him also. Hawaii is sooooo nice esp with my MCS cept for shipping cost- cost of living in paradise.

Randy approached me as well after I already had communications started with MINI-Madness, so I had to tell him that I didn't feel that it was right to change mid-stream. He was cool about that...
