Offline | Cheap Magnaflow : Group Buy????? I don't know. Does $550 sound good? I think so. I'm dealing with Autotechnic (www.autotchnic.net) down the street (CT) and it's about the best deal there is. He wants ten orders. I told him I know where to find them. Maybe I do. Anyone left after the first feeding frenzy? I think he might give the same price for less... I'll be in touch with the shop and update this thread. just call or email, ask about the MINI2 group buy rate. 860-350-8407 jeff@autotechnic.net looking at $30-45 shipping. or $65 installation. Come on, get the noise. I can personally vouch for a very significant power increase and a distinctly British sportscar sound. ![]() NY/NE Mod Last edited by GMINI : Apr 9th, 2003 at 10:11 PM. |

Offline | Just talked to Rob. Jeff's gone till Tuesday and he's managing this group buy. I do know they've received a lot of interest and I'm assuming the quota is either reached or near. I'll call Tuesday. ![]() NY/NE Mod |

Offline | Magnaflow group-buy For 550.00, I'm in. The Magnaflow part# I researched is # 15742. This is for a 2003 Mini Cooper S. As far as shipping costs...was that apx. rate for anywhere in the country? Or will it be set by zip code. What type of ship method? I will also contact the selling agent directly. Also, a great price on K&N stock Air Filter replacement for the S......part# 33-2270 $36.95 FREE SHIPPING for a limited time at "performanceproducts.com" . I ordered mine Thursday 4/4/03. Does anyone have a line on an upgraded throttle body for the S? The one I remember was a stock unit honed out for more volume, but I dont remember where I saw it. Later, Ed |

Offline | Just got the e-mail from Jeff that the group buy is ready to go through. Did everyone else get an E-mail? Jeff said there are a couple of people left to respond. |

Offline | Actually indefinitely as i said above means every group buy ammount filled. And the number as it iturns out is more like five per group buy. I just edited the original post to show his email at .net, not .com... that should help. ![]() ![]() NY/NE Mod |

Offline | Am seriously thinking about the Magnaflow. What is the expierence if any while at highway speeds, two loud? Any comparrison to stock 0-10, 0 being the stock sound? Don't want to go nuts with a "cabin reverb". |

Offline | 40 YRSLT. I have had the fortune of testing an S with the mf on it a couple of times. I cruised it on a straightaway in fifth at 60 and up a hill steep as they sometimes get round here. The hills are loudest and no noticeable cabin vibration. The loudness is rich and deep and not offensive to my ears. Cruising - I have not experienced the drone. a good link to read if you haven't already: http://mini2.com/forum/showthread.ph...ht=magnafl ow (see like mid thread) and: http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthrea...ht=magnafl ow g ' ![]() NY/NE Mod |

Offline | First order has gone in. Delivery is due in next week at New Milford. If you have shipping arrangements i guess it depends on where you are. I'm not too clear on that. I think Jeff is having it shipped direct to you. Might be worth a call if you don't know. ![]() NY/NE Mod |
