Doug, quick question.......

Do you send the shift knobs out by post, or bt recorded delivery...the reason I ask, is that my guy in NY, who I was thinking of sending it to, would need it delivered to his work address , if it has to be sigmed for, if regular post, its OK to his home address.

Can you let me know when you have a chance please ?

And one other question......

Will the polished finish stand up to scratches caused by a ring? I suppose the stainless is much harder than gold anyway?

Stainless is a fairly tough material, but not what I'd consider hard.
I think you could scratch up the surface fairly easily with a ring; though to be honest, I haven't really tested it.

Maybe someone else on the board would know from experience.

Regarding the shipping; I send all of the US orders by Priority Mail with a delivery confirmation required, so I know for sure that the box made it to the correct address.
But it doesn't require a signature; so I could send yours to either address.

I engraved yours yesterday.
On Tuesday, I'll have it polished, and it will be on its way.

With any luck, you'll see it in a week or ten days.
I just heard from a customer in Switzerland, whose order didn't show up for a month!
Let's hope for better luck than that!

Excellent!

Perhaps I should employ your friend to fly around the world, making deliveries for me.

Thanks again for all of your assistance!

Doug,

I'll be faxing you an order form in the morning.

Im going for a brushed knob, six speed, with a polished circle, so I've noted that on the form, as it doesn't cater specifically for that option.

Getting it sent to my brother in law in NY, who will be home in early July......
