I'll let Doug respond to you on the shipping costs but when I had mine sent to the UK there was no import duty. As I understand it HM customs don't (for that read can't) check every package coming into the UK. I've always been lucky and never had to pay any import duty on the many packages I've had sent from the US. A few of my friends have been stung for 17.5% though.

Even with an additional 17.5% VAT its worth it!!

i've seen the page of WSM pix, but want to see then in action [not literally, just installed is fine by me!
i'd be especially keen to see a bead-blasted one installed [hint, hint grommit!]

Well here's my knob that Doug just created for me. I haven't received it yet, but I'll definitely post an action picture next week when I do have it!!!

This is going on the Indi Blue MC as seen in my banner. The URL is the website for a product that I developed and I sell through various retailers. The finish is brushed, though I may later change it to the more recent Bead Blasted look.

Doug was sooooooooo kind to work with me on this. I know I wasn't the easiest person to please, but he was such a pleasure to work with. Absolutely Highly recommended!!!

It makes the whole shift assembly feel more substantial due to the extra weight. Much more satisfying than the original stock knob.

Didn't miss your Timbuk3 reference, saw them in '88 opening for Bob Dylan at Orange County (NY) fairgrounds. Still have some of their stuff on vinyl. God, I'm getting old.
