GROUP BUY: Whalen Shift Machine !!!

Here it is; the official announcement on the group purchase of WSM knobs.

For any MINI2.com member, any knob ordered between now and July 5th is reduced by $30.00.

That makes it $100.00 for an unengraved knob, $120.00 engraved.

Now, the only problem is that I don't know of a way to order through Paypal with the reduced price.
I'll touch base with my web guy, but I don't think it can easily be done (but then again, I'm an idiot regarding computers)

It may be easier to just FAX your orders in, or e-mail me with your info.

Thanks in advance for your patronage!!

Well, Art is Art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And East is East and West is West and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. - Groucho Marx, "Animal Crackers"

OK, Gromit has straightened me out very nicely regarding the best way to order.

How about choosing from the site which finish and engraving you'd like, then paying directly thru Paypal?
That way, you can send in the correct payment amount, and in the the 'comments' screen, you can indicate to me what you would like.

How does that sound?

And of course, for customers who don't like to use Paypal, (for whatever reason), there is still the printable FAX order form on the site. FAX # (815) 233-9870

Also, the order can always be phoned in. (815) 233-9870

Thumbs up I'm in!

I'm in on the buy! Doug, I just sent payment via Pay Pal along with my info. Any estimate what the wait might be for this wonderful little work of art?

You've got e-mail!

It will ship early in the week, by Priority Mail. (unless you feel like a 6-hour drive, to come pick it up!

Mail is good!

If I already had the MINI, a six hour drive would be great. But, since the car is still in New York and I'm in MN, I think priority mail sounds just fine!

Doug, I placed my order today. I used the paypal thing. First time to use. A bit scary providing them all that info.

Thanks for doing this group buy. I am sure we will all sing your praises to our friends.

I'm in! Just give me a day to decide what design and finish I want.

Saw the one that you made for CapeCod Mini (Hold On!) and it looked great!

Thanks for offering the group buy.

Doug, any more news on the stone knobs? I was supposed to be your guinea pig on these, but haven't heard from you in awhile.

Doug, I want to order a Whalen knob. In fact, I've still got 3 more months for my MINI to arrive, but I gotta have one of your knobs. I've seen some people bought an engraved one that was a combo brushes/polished. Which one is that on your site?

Thanks a lot!

I have to apologize for the lack of pictures on my site. That's just another one of the many things that I need to do a better job of.

Here is a picture of the knob that I made for Paul Mullet. You can see how the two finishes look together.

I can do that with any engraving, as long as there is a circle around the outside, like this. Doesn't matter what's inside the circle; could be a shift pattern, user name, whatever.

Thanks Doug!
Cool, I just Pay Pal'd you my money for an engraved brushed knob. Looks really great! I guess I'm cool with it just being fully brushed. Hard to imagine when I don't even have my car yet. LOL, but it's an offer I simply can't miss.
