| MINI2 Sex God & etc...... | Rakey, Did you fit your own? If you did how easy is it to install is it just a single lead and one or two screws!! or is it a bit of a pain in the ass to install? |

Offline | there is a help guide on Mikeys website, an article in the last issue of GoMINI too, a few phone calls had to be made to Mikey too (only because I forgot to disconnect the CD changer ), but since then I have fitted it, taken it out (for warranty work on stereo just to be safe ) and fitted it again.its about 40 minutes to fit, something that I think most people can do and if you do it yourself it makes you feel even more happy with it ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

Offline | very transferable between cars, as long as the stereo fitting don't change in time ![]() the only pic I have is from my first install, but since this was taken I have since swapped the Pod to the left pillar and phone to the right, will get a newer one up as soon as possible for you. The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

| MINI2 lurker | My dad lives in the states so getting one brought back wont be a problem. £215 for a 40 gig 4th gen... ipod mini works out at roughly £40 cheaper than here also. Low on funds at the moment due to lots of partying, must have had a fortnight long birthday this year ![]() |

Offline | Modern Times. OK - Don't tell the North folks, cos I'm supposed to be an old fart , but I'm gonna buy a 4th Gen and an icelink cable into the glove compartment. We have the standard Single CD player (Boost?), and not the HK system. (I don't want the Ipod on display and don't want a cradle ). I now need an expert (Mikey!) to tell me what version of the cabley thing I need, and does this help towards the group buy at all? Oh aye - and anyone got any sources for cheap New Ipods? p.s. - Hope the rakester doesn't see this, he's the only one likely to be in here! Stew. |

Offline | Count me in too as a 95% probable. I'll want it in the glove box but I haven't specced up the stereo on my new S yet so not sure what I will want, also be better if its in sept/oct when I have a few pennies again. The current S drank quite a bit going to the ring and back last weekend - just the S - I was driving! |
