I'm surprised there's not more interest. This is a quality head unit, bought for a quality price, from one of the most reliable sources on Mini2.

Get your chequebook out and lets all get ICED up.

Good lad. We need one more.

This is a quality piece of kit. Not many head units at this price have 24bit. It also matches the Mini perfectly.

I always thought it meant better play back. But I wasn't sure so I did some searching. I came up with this thread:

http://www.talkaudio.co.uk/vbb/showt...&highlight=bit

What are the chances of upgrading to the 848?

I downloaded the specs on the 2 units and noticed the 24bit difference. After reading your referenced thread that's put that to bed, if these peeps know their bits!

So Mike, the Burning question. Is there an option on the upgrade? I like the idea of directly uploading 6 or so CD's onto my unit.

Over to you......

Mike, I don't go for secrecy but you can PM me if it suits you. I'd like the unit (preferably the 848), the free facia (thank you) and I'd need a wave harness and arial adapter. Also a 5m RCA lead for my sub.

All in price will be wicked and I'll come over to pick it up with the cash in my hand (if that helps).

Like I said, be nice to meet you and have a listen to your system too.

It's pay day today! Wohoooo.

Ps. I take it the 80 colours on the 848 gives enough to colour match? Do the different displays on each unit display info differently? The operating manuals say the 848 remote weighs 80g and the 748 30g?? think it's a typo.

Back guys - sorry for the delay - been buried under a mountain of ice links
We can change this to the 848
848 - £269 (RRP £399)
Yes it has memory for around 6 discs & it will play your mp3 discs too.
Remember it loses the speed dependant volume (not that most people wire this into the car anyway)
Same offer applies - free facia adaptor
Aerial adaptor £9
Wave harness adaptor £6
or Boost harness adaptor £8
Will get a delivery quote from business post when they open

848 with aerial adaptor & wave harness £284.
Lead for sub amp - from £4 to £30 depending on quality & style
Remote is a typo they are the same
Colour choice not as good as 748 & 1 line display
