Group Buy: Whalen Shift Machine

Hi guys,

I'm getting a Whalen for myself, so I thought "Why not organise a Group Buy to save us all some money ". I've spoken to Doug about it, and he has said that anything over 2 orders he will provide free shipping, and if we can get over 10 he will give us free engraving!

They normally cost roughly AUD$210 + postage for a custom engraved one - but if we can get more than 10 orders then it will work out to around $180 (depending on the exchange rate), which is a great saving!

Keep in mind you can choose your own design for the knob!

Orders:
  • Baker
  • FLiPSiDE
  • IML337
  • GOGADGET
  • minigolf
  • smurfn
  • Red&blackS
  • ChilliRedS
  • nealskilling

Cheers,

Kevin

(BTW - if anyone would require references etc before wanting to give me that much money I can easily provide them - I'm an Admin on Australias largest computer and technology forum Overclockers Australia)

I've updated the first post with your names, and details of a great new offer that Doug has offered us!

Thanks Baker. ScottyB is your man re Sigs
Also I don't know if Vic has seen this thread but he may be interested ( on big drives he loves playing with his knob, especially when it's cold, and then telling us about it over the 2 way radio )

When is the cut-off for this GB? $180 is a bit expensive for a gear knob so I better read more about it first.

Hmm, I was thinking of the standard 6-gate pattern/wings logo, but I like the sound of Micky's idea. Let me know when you need an asnwer.

Cheers Liam

I'd love to replace my crappy 2004 plastic knob with one of those Whalen's engraved with my JCW number - there's a pic of one somewhere in this huge MINI2 universe.

However even $180 is stretching it. Think I'll wait until Saturday's tattslotto results come though.

I've added you guys smurfn and minigolf. eltel, you know you want one mate

Dairyboy, these knobs, while pricey, are the best on the market bar none.

a bit less than that haha but momo knobs are generally crap quality

Had a few Momo's in my lifetime - generally they are fairly nice to grab and to have fun with but at most I've only kept them for a year so I wouldn't know how long lasting they might be. Their steering wheel keeps going and going and going for years.
