Offline | Speed Camera Detector group buy NOW ON, Micro Roadpilot Following my group buy earlier this year for the Micro Roadpilot I am doing it again. For those that don't know it the Micro roadpilot is the smallest GPS camera detector and it also comes with a Laser detector eye. It displays your digital speed & tells you what the speed limit is where the cameras are. They retail at £395 inc 6 months updates, I have discounted this down to £329.99 inc vat & for Mini2 Priveledge members it drops a further £5 to £324.99 !! I have also discounted my power take off kits as part of this which saves plugging it into your cig lighter. The unit comes with a cig lighter plug so it can be used straight out of the box. This can be chopped & hard wired or my power take off kits can be used. If ordering for mail order , special delivery must be taken for insurance reasons. I have dropped this by £1. The GPS aerial can be fitted in a number of locations (eg top corner of the dash) my favourite on cars without heated front screens is inside the dash hidden - ask if your not sure. The system has in its database; Gatso, Truvelo, TSS/DS2, SPECS, Traffipax. The laser eye detects mobile laser traps. (Be warned - laser traps get your speed very quickly & detecting them is not a precise science) Having this system does not mean you will never be done for speeding and it is not a license to speed - it will alert you to accident blackspots & remind you of the speed limit To buy click here https://www.newministuff.com/shop/?a...uctshow&id=135 or call 01704878528 Put your Mini2 user name in the notes section & tell me if you are a Mini2 Priv member so I can apply the extra discount at my end. | MINI2 Regular | Couple of questions.... 1) How easy it to fit? It looks from those pictures that you have to remove some bits? 2) How much is the ongoing subscription costs? Gone - IB/W Cooper, bonnet stripes, white indicators, Chili Now - EB/W S, stripes, Chili, climate, R90's :-) |

Offline | ive had my micro roadpilot for over a year now. i can say with no inhibitions its by far the most usefull and value for money item ive bought for my car so far. Its saved my bacon a few times in areas where i would of not known a camera to be located. its a great product and with the addition of the radar detector (which i dont have) it will save you fines and cash if u accidently blunder into a camera. |

| can i go home yet | http://www.mini2.com/forum/attachmen...chmentid=45772 This is my install which Mikey did and I am very happy with the laser detector is discreetly mounted at rearview mirror level. No wires can be seen and very happy with the result |

Offline | Fitting can be very easy, most people stick the screen mount to the windscreen, run the laser eye wire up the pillar & stick this to the window at the top. Then the gps aerial can live on top of the dash (I hide them inside the dash - by removing clip on end panel & sticking it in there although not on cars with heated front windows). The power wire has a cig lighter plug, this can be plugged into the cig lighter or chopped of & the unit hard wired OR I do a plug & play loom that gives an extra cig lighter socket to hide behind the dash (this plugs in behind the radio) |
