I have been in contact with Scott at AMD tuning they have the best normal price I have found, and have also offered MINI2 users for this GROUP BUY 22.5% DISCOUNT, this is bigger than the last GROUP BUY they helped users organise, and is thanks to Scott and another MINI2 user that has helped me in this negotiation.

The discount will be applied if we can get 10 orders, and NO ORDERS will be shipped until everyone signing up has paid a deposit or the full amount, so please only register interest if you are SERIOUS as other wise you will delay the order for other users.

Once I have the 10 required orders, I will contact users with the full details of how to send the money to AMD (not to me) this should take no more than 2 days after I send the message. Any users delaying the GROUP BUY I shall post in thsi thread so other users know why there is a delay

Please do not post in here if you think oh yes it would be great, but I don't have the money for it just yet.

Fitting can be arranged with AMD on payment of the goods, but the price is normally £50, but if they are too far then I am sure you will be able to find someone local to do it for anything from £30-£50.

P&P is £20 on top of your order to UK addresses only I am affraid.

Unfortunetly AMD are not able to supply the systems over seas, they are licensed distributors for the UK only. But seeing as there is a fair bit of interest someone could organise a group buy all they need to do is contact Stratmosphire and see if they are willing to help out

Seriously, I wanted to get an idea of those interested, I have sent intial messages to a couple of companies, one of whom I know have done group buys before, so will let you all know as and when I hear anything over the next few days.

The cheapest non-discounted price for the MCS Cat back I have found so far is £350, so am aiming for lower than that, if it gives you an idea of cost

My current car did have a PLAYMINI on it, to have this fitted was £30, but just give your local kwikfit or other exhaust fitter a call tomorrow, they will tell you how much to change it over

Note: The Milltek is a 4-1 system which is best suited to higher revving engines such as the Honda S2000 and Civic R-Type. The JCW manifold is a 4-2-1 and better wuited to lower revs, such as the MINI scharger. However, Ray West did say that the Milltek gave the best results from 9 different types they tried.

I have just been quoted £1050 for the JCW manifold and cat, fitted inc. VAT.
That's a hell of a lot of money so hope the Milltek comes in muuuuuuuuch cheaper.

In addition to the group buy, could we also arrange some details as to where is best to get these products fitted for the regions covered by the growing list of buyers.

Personally I only know of two locations I would trust - WestTuning and JCW, but they are both down south and I live in Manchester.

If we could get a reduction on fitting costs this way then that would be great, but for me it is more about finding a fitter that I can trust.
