Anybody fancy trying to organise a group buy for the JCW Strut Brace for the MCS? I know it seems kinda rude to ask but I'm bogged down with revision for my finals at the moment so only have enough spare time to eat and sleep (oh, and check the forums

)
Anyway I'll wait and see if anyone is interested in taking this on and whether we can get a good deal going!

funny you should mention it, but once the aero skirt group buy is put to bed, I was wondering what to try and organise for people on here

I am sure that there are cheaper struts out there that pretend to do the job just as good, but without the over priced JCW badge

Well, looking at other threads it looks like dealers are quoting £165 inc VAT for the JCW Strut Brace to fit it yourself so hopefully less than this is we manage to get a group buy sorted!!!!
Apparently to have it fitted at JCG it could be as much as £230 so it's worth the effort to fit it yourself, doesn't look too difficult, just a case of taking the 6 original bolts off your MCS, putting the strut brace in place and bolting in the 6 bolts supplied with the strut brace!
Only a few basic tools required and less than an hour of free time!
FYI the part number is JCW177 if you want to enquire about it before this group buy (hopefully

) gets started!

I was just wondering Rakey, do you tend to look locally for a dealer to give you a good deal on group buys or whoever budges the most on price?
Being from Yorkshire also I wondered which dealer you'd suggest trying first?
If the strut brace buy goes ahead at some point, be sure to count me in to aid with the updating, ordering, collection etc (if you need / want any help) once Uni is over and I'm back up North!!!

right, as I said I'll start on this one once all the payments are in for the aero skirts, as then shouldn't be anymore work for me on that Group Buy

I already have the brace on myself, and fitted it cost £198, not a bad price already, but I am sure I can get some more movement on that and also on a supplied price.

I start an offical thread about it in just over a weeks time
