Offline | I'd be more than happy to cut you a good deal, if you can come up with half a dozen or so orders. Individually, the shipping is only $8.00; I'd be willing to waive that, and take a bit off the price, as well. |

Offline | My impression was thtat they were actual pool balls, which should give a pretty good clue as to their colors. And mentioning that other site may be a no-no, but there are some small pix here: http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...hp?product=101 04 BRG/W MCS |

Offline | You're quite correct. I use actual pool balls, and insert my usual attachment mechanism into them. FWIW, they are slightly larger in diameter and slightly heavier than the stock MINI knob. 2 1/4" diameter and 8 ounces. |

| MINI2 Regular | I know there real pool balls but after looking on some billard websites i noticed that colors can vary from Manuf. to Manuf. and i would like to match it to my car as close as possible. The problem is i am not sure if i am doing Electric Blue or Hyper Blue. But i would want it to match Mykl Milligan '06 HB/W MCS '05 DS/W MCS Works (Dad's Car) |

Offline | I think I would have an extremely tough time trying to match the pool ball color with the car color. Probably best for me to not even try. If you can locate something and purchase it yourself, I'd be happy to make a knob out of it. I just had a customer do that very thing; he found a ball that he liked, mailed it to me, and I put the attachment mechanism into it for him. |

Offline | I don't think I can find a ball to match my Chili Red car closely enough to not look ridiculous, so I'm pondering an 8-ball instead. That would look sweet! Is this group buy for anyone, or the Aussies only? |

Offline | The Alta lever is threaded, which leaves you with two choices. You can buy a plastic adapter from Alta, which screws onto the lever and allows fitment of a stock knob (or my knob), or I can make a threaded knob to fit their lever. The threaded ones that I make look exactly like my standard knobs, but have a set screw in the stem (located toward the dashboard side, so as to be out of view). That's the only way to keep an engraved knob 'timed' correctly. One advantage of the threaded version is that they're easier for me to make than my standard knob; therefore I can sell them cheaper. E-mail or PM me for a price. |

Offline | This is what I have in mind. Aussies only, in this case. Pool ball knobs; 10% off the normal price. Stainless steel knobs; 10% off, + free shipping. (All of this is contingent on my receiving a minimum of six orders). How's that sound? -Doug |
