Australia Group Buy - Rear Swaybar!! (for Aussies) - CLOSED

Ok Guys... continuing and finishing off the aussie thread about sway bars from November 2004. I have gotten a quote from www.minimotive.com for 22m rear sway bars.

They have offered to knock off 20% the price of the sway bar provided we get somewhere between 6 - 12 orders of the product (ie 20% of $169.99 USD)

Refer to the following link:

http://www.terrysaytherauto.com/MINIOnlineStoreSusp.htm

Per Bryan (from minimotive), 6 sway bars = $816, 12 swaybars = $1632.00USD. He will get back to me on shipping costs

if you are keen, pls list ur name down. Comon folks lets get this swaybar thing actually happening and wrapped up.

Cheers!

-Pete

PS. if u can get better quotes, by all means let us know!

EDIT : i have corrected the prices ( i brought up this discprancy issue with Bryan )

sweet....so we'd be looking at about AUD$180 for the bar, then some postage....

Consider me in this one as well

(I'd have to stagger the whalen and this though - pay day to pay day....
I've been lusting after a sway bar a lot more than a whalen! )

Yeah I'm interested if the freight doesnt blow the price out, and its a quick transaction.

Guys i have updated the prices - i queried Byran from the company about the discprancy, apparently he was looking at the old price list.

So the correct prices per sway bar are 20% off $170 US ( which means 136 US for each sway bar )

Cheers

So..using 6 people...UPS-Expedited...

it would come to about AUD$285 ....

....sweet....like I said..I'm in...

is that postage all to one place though?

edit: just saw your edit ..I still don't think it's that bad....it's not that expensive considering what it does....it's the price we pay for living on the other side of the blardy world from everyone!!!

Hey guys instead of closing the group buy why dont we just change the product to the WHITELINE sway bar?????? Just as good,, little to no freight and supporting a local manufactorer. I'm sure we can get a decent deal.

What do you guys reckon?

I'd be interested in that....keen to see what comes out of it....was also interested in front and rear strut-braces...

I still would expect to pay more than 300 bucks to get an alta at my door anyway...so I don't have a problem with the original deal...

I could be up for this too, but I need to get new wheels & tyres this week.

Have to see how the finances are after that.

Not sure yet mate.

It's not easy trying to work out what to get. Everyone seems to want to sell whatever tyres give them the best GP%. Suprise, suprise.

Well I thought I'd narrowed it down to a couple, but the guys over in Aussie banter havn't been very supportive of my choices.

I'm not giving up though, try again tomorrow.
