Hi all,

Newby here - first post and all that

I've recently taken delivery of a Hyper Blue S and I'm interested in buying the complete Pre-Painted Aero kit. Is anyone running or about to run a Group Buy? Trying to save as many pennies as possible having just drained £18k from my bank for the S

A group buy has just finished on the Aero side skirts (although some ordered the full kit at discount) so I don't think there will be another one for a while.

If you're willing to take on the responsibility yourself you could start one in a few months time maybe?

Group buys can save a lot of money if there is enough demand and a willing dealership I would suggest leaving it a while then starting an "interest" thread to guage how many people are considering it.

But be warned, not all members who sign up will be forthcoming with the cash when it all goes ahead. We recently had over 100 signed as interested for the aero skirts, about 65 of them confirmed themselves as definites, but when it came to it quite a few bailed out (for various reasons).

I'd probably be up for it.

i believe minispeed do the kit and can supply pre-painited.

i've also just spent close to 18K on my hyper blue mcs
white roof, blue black leather, darkened glass, chilli pack, lsd, s spokes

but no-one else will offer the side skirts for £235 or just over £800 for the full aero kit

Count me in, I'm interested in a group buy for any or all of the aero kit!!! What were the reasons for the dealer bailing on the deal?? Reason I ask is cos my Copper is Astro Black, and I havn't seen many aero kits dotted about in that colour

SOrry, I only just noticed this thread.

We have a MINI dealer up here in Scotland who actively participate in our local MINI site, www.newminiscotland.co.uk.

I had planned to start a new group buy for Aero kit bits be it skirts, bumpers, whatever. I am still waiting on some figures from the dealer and i'll post back when I do.

For now I have started an interest thread, so go stick your name down!!!!!!

I am in for another aero group buy for sure!!! I only need side skirts though.

Hope more of you are up for this too!!
