Hi All

Following on from email from Babes and hope MikeC will allow this to remain in thie thread, through a mate, got in direct contact with Prestige SheepSkin Covers to potentially discuss a group buy.

The woner was all for this arrangement, so like the others, once we get some numbers and propose a date, I can confirm the arrangements.

The covers are Sheepskin on front in numerous colour matches, synthetic on rear [pull over section] and lined on back to protect seats plus side provision for MCS airbags.

Normal Dealer sell [can confirm as this cost me] is AUD$495
Prestige will sell to our club for wholesale at AUD$288
plus any shipping interstate, but Im sure this will be minimal.

Unfortunately, I'm off on business for a short time, but if Babes and/or Mike can consolidate the numbers, I will get organised.

Far from being a kiwi....thought actually people would enjoy getting quality for half price from dealer....but maybe my judgement was wrong in trying to help fellow Mini2 and club members....
Pity, as I have heaps of contacts as my role involves buying and selling, so this was to test the water for other Aussie buying items.
Maybe just keep to WA members......
In fact, I think Babes was stating that after 18 months he was starting to see cracking on the leather part of the seat......maybe this is a solution....

Put me down for some, not sure why the disdain from some. Id rather have someone look in at tailored, custom made seat covers than at cracks appearing in the side of the seat.

Our merc has sheepskin seat covers and I find them quite luxurious, stops the back of your legs getting burnt in the summer if nothing else. I note those taking the ****** appear to be of regions that may not experience weeks on end of 35c+ temps.

8 years ago I bought a Lancer and had Prestige fit sheepskin covers.
The fit is still perfect and they are very comfortable. Highly recommended.

At work presently.......still cant get enough of the MCSa.....its great.

Will post some photos tonight of side and rear of seat covers for those interested, as the Prestige site doesn't really do any justice.

Prestige will basically make anything you want. Go to there web site as shown earlier and there are heaps of photos in the Galleries section under Coupes.

Initially when I told and showed a photo to my 2 sons, they said, "Dad thats C*&^%P", however, now that they have seen then and sat in them, they are saying they are "Sick" from what I understand of their language that means good.
I'm on business for a couple of weeks but will try and respond where i can.

Sorry-No idea about postage, but they do not weigh much, I would estimate around $22.
