Hey guys, i was wandering if anyone in the Sydney region would be interested in going in on a group buy for some front mounted spot lights?

I got my PIAA's for $219.00 plus postage, but they don't sponsor MINI2 so PM me if you want the details.

You can sometimes find them on EBay but rarely do they want to ship to Australia, but if you had a group buy they very may well be interest.

Search EBAY.com (no au) for PIAA lights 510, they have them for $147 US plus $40 for the brackets.

I'm luke warmly interested. I have to say though that I prefer the OEM option, but agree the price is a bit scary.

the other alternative is to get the mini-mania brackets (MUCH better quality than the OEM ones) and fit whatever lights you like on them. Aircraft landing lights could be an option, I've heard that you can get nice chrome ones of them relatively cheap.

I like the look of the Hella lamps, but do they look the same as the factory installed mini lamps or not? and how much are the Hella lamps in AU$. Thanks for the help

FF200's are what I have on mine. they're VERY good driving lights. mine are painted BRG, though I didn't do the greatest job ever....

I have sent emails to some US dealers now waiting for replies.
I think the Hella kit won't fit 05 model (correct me if I am wrong).
The PIAA kit will fit all models.
OEM requires dealer fitted.

Last time I spoke to Hella, the kit was going to be about $500 and would be ordered directly from Germany.

Yeah, but I want to see them on a more "traditionally" coloured MINI, and from the side too.
