I am offering another Group buy on the great little Micro Roadpilot as prices have fallen
It is the smallest GPS camera location system on the market. In its database are all Gatso, Truvello, Trafipax & Specs cameras along with DS2 mobile sites. It features a GPS speedo & will tell you what the speed limit at the camera sites is (bleeping if your speed is over the limit).
It is available with or without the laser eye. -( Laser detection is possible but not to be relied on with any system )
The system is 100% legal in the UK at this time although there are plans to make laser detectors illegal (the laser eye is detatchable and also has software built in to switch it off when stationary)
The screen is removable & comes with a USB link for updates via your PC.
As it comes it has a cig lighter so is plug & play.
For a neater install we have power take off kits available which plug in behind the radio & have a cig socket which can be hidden behind the dash end panel.
Second car kits are also available should you wish to have permanent mounts in a second car.
Updates are free for 6 months after which it is £50 per year
The special price will be £254 with the laser detector or £239 without.
These prices include VAT.

I've used the power of Google to have a look at that mighty fine product which seems to average about £300.00 or in good looking terms £299.99.

A bit of a cost but none the less looks great....

Would be good if some one can give us a good sales pitch...

Id be interested to know the saving? Also what is the legality of the optional Laser detection attachment. Is this a laser blocker or just detects the laser guns?

I've got one mate (from the last group buy) and yes they are very good.
Very tidy like! Looks good and not conspicuous. I also find it a lot more accurate on runs than other makes - i.e. people on walkie talkies shout speed camera ahead - when there isn't - usually because theres one on a crossing road.

Would it be possible to do a Roadpilot (Thingi) which your doing now, and also do a defuser group buy as well??! This would be a brilliant combination of products. (By the way I or M2 do not condone the use of the defuser as a GET AROUND POLICE product, But i do condone it for opening electric gates and garages (Which it is ment to be used for) - Sorry for that just incase a get me hands slapped!!!

The may become illegal, but the laser is detachable from the gps unit. Thus making it very legal.

Personaly I cant see them banning people who baught a laser and gps intergrated system from using them, this would cause a very seeriose problem as people will have waisted a lot of hard earned money.
