Offline | Picked up mine today, getting it fitted tommorow morning. It really looks a good bit of quality workmanship. Its even supplied with everything you need, right down to the latex gloves...............mmmmmmmm nice!! A tip to anyone wanting to pick theirs up in their MINI, take the Milltek out of the box. It will fit in no problem with the seats down as its in three parts for the 'S' . I'm sure if you ask nicely, Dean will skip the box and packaging for you. On a final note, big thanks to UKC4 (Adam), top bloke, and a good call getting it from AGTI who have been excellent. Just a shame I didnt have more time to look around the place. Will post at weekend after driving around with the windows down listening to those lovely Milltek tones........... Offline | Just had mine fitted and took it for a drive. Internally, you notice a slightly deeper sound when accelerating with a deep boominess between 3500-4000rpm. But this is only when accelerating, cruising round town or at 70mph there is no more noise in the cabin than on a standard car. Which is good. ...and does anyone know what the market is like for selling the old exhaust? It's pretty big as the centre pipe is all one piece with the rear section. |

Offline | Mines now fitted as well. The guys at ATS had a minor problem with the slash cut tailpipes as they were touching the cutaway of the valance on the rear bumper, so they put in a different rubber hanger to leave a nice gap so they wont rattle against the it. Apart from that, looks good, not too loud and 'pops' away nicely when you take your foot off the accelarator. Money well spent................ Offline | Just try and get done what ATS done to mine. All they did was get a rubber hanger that had holes spaced farther apart than the stock MINI ones. That way it pushes the tailpipes further towards the ground ensuring adequate clearance from the bumper. On another note, I have now noticed after looking at other pics of MINIs with Millteks is that my tailpipes seem to be sticking out too far. I'm going back in the morning to put it back on the hoist so they can loosen the clamp on the middle pipe and slide it further up towards the silencer that comes off the original CAT. Be aware of this, little tip............. Dark Silver/Black MCS (Carlisle) - Now Stopped Drooling..............Now sitting in Lloyds MINI very cherished dept!!
