...The GTT badge will bend ok ,the bend bias is slightlty more on the engraved lines (as its thinner here) ,but works well ...just use your hands or put the centre over a table edge and push. You cant break it or b.....er it up.
-Dont try and bend the blue anodised plate though,-that would mess up.
best Regards Roland GTT

Roland,

Sorry, I think you misunderstood. I am not looking at bending anything. My reference to the flat surface was simply from an adhesive perspective. How would silicone sealer adhere to a smooth flat metallic surface.

The badge will remain perfectly flat, both the blue anodised plate and the GTT characters. Put in place over the mesh lower grille within the front aero-kit bumper against a deposit of gooey silicone sealer would be my approach. However, while it would adhere to the grill well, due to the shape of the grille parts and key-ing ability, it would not stick well to the GTT badge part, or would it????

I suppose the easiest way to find is to just do it

Cheers,
K.

Heh He.

- All this talk of badges........

Hope you remember who first recommended you to do badge kits and suggested badged carpets, all those moons ago, Roland old bean.......

P.S. Did we ever agree on my commission???? - Just kidding. I'll put my mat set order in as soon as I can be bothered to find another job.
P.P.S. Treated myself to a very nice GTT personal number plate (i know, i know, vulgar, etc, etc), so thats MORE free advertising for thee. New alloys on their way so updated pics of my GTT up soon.
