New GTT300T conversion coming soon!

Hi guys, just to let you know we are currently working on a new turbo (only) conversion for the MCS. Although probably more work than twincharged or bigger SC kit. Turbo only is IMO without doubt the 'right' way to go. We expect to have the car running by spring and hopefully on sale by the summer. Engine manifold, turbo manifold (downpipe) ,intercooler and many other parts will be designed/made in house. Our goal is a kit with unsurpassed everyday reliability & driveability (lots of mid range pull& no lag).Initially approx. 300bhp kit with cost efective upgrades to around 350bhp.
Obviously we want to keep some things to ourselves for now ,but heres some info for you ;-
-GTT spec Roller bearing turbo + T3 actuator + GTT cockpit adjustable boost control user adjustable and fully variable between 8psi and 20psi + boost guage
- GTT tig welded thick wall fabricated manifold (with 3-5 year guarantee)
-Electric water pump, with digital temperature control; user adjustable
-GTT large front mount intercooler.
-GTT Downpipe with flexijoint and removable sports cat ,+ optional de-cat pipe.
Our aim is to release the 300bhp version fully fitted (with a good warranty) from circa £6K +vat.

Happy christmas
Roland GTT

The GTT300T is for the Supercharged models. R56 mods will be commencing March 07, though nothing this radical in the early stages.

That is going to be quite a weapon! Trouble is, surely such a thing would be useless in the wet? Mine has great difficulty in the lower gears, although this might be partially down to the tyres.

In any car, you drive to the grip that’s available, if that means being on a relatively small amount of throttle in any gear in any condition then you need to accept that’s what you have to do..

If you’re driving in snow, in any car, then chances are that your going to have enough power to break traction, you telling me that you’re cars going to be useless?

By having more power it doesn’t mean that you have less grip, it just means its going to be relatively easier to break traction..

Sorry if it seems like I’m going on here but hey..

Roland,
Thanks for this info...... I have been thinking of looking into a R56 but have now can see myself going down this route !

The idea of 300 BHP plus unsurpassed everyday reliability & driveability is just what I am looking for. I guess to make the car safe I will need to budget for upgraded brakes and handling also.....

Can not wait to see this come into life.

And that's exactly my point - what's the point of all those extra geegee's, if you don't have sufficient traction? To be honest, if I wanted any more power than I've got now, I'd go four wheel-drive.

Can the two kits be combined, anything for us brand new GTT260 customers??

PS. your website needs updating with all the parts you have introduced recently...and these new ones as they arrive.

Cheers,
K.

Hi, yes certainly some parts of the GTT260 will be included anyway , and ultimatly you could upgrade to it. We want to long term test things to ensure the best possible reliability & performance.,with everything ironed out before we launch it. I dont want you guys being guinea pigs for something thats not been tested long/hard enough.(eg smoking turbos , cracked exhaust manifolds etc. )
For more grip consider Toyo R888tyres (or similar) and a LSD

I'm enrolling myself now, an easy £5k

Well i am defo up for a clutch, flywheel, LSD, and raised idle to 1000 rpm.
Also interested in bilsteins.

Don't think i can get 215/35/18 Toyo 888's

If you know anyone that wants Dare X4's with GSD3 F1 all round, then shout, and i'll get OZ 17" with 888's.

One suggestion for 2007... get the website update redesigned for the mini and get those photos of new parts posted - being a webdesigner/developer amongst other things these issues stand out to me!

Very excited at developments for 2007.

Improvement Addict !!

Cheers,
K.

well i will need to add this to my Santa's wish list, + add better tyres, wheels, suspension
wipe clean seats etc before even thinking of all that extra umph,
but please tell me you can do all this and still keep a "stock look" the thought of an M3 being wasted by the so called "baby" BMW and not knowing whats hit him will be worth every penny
