Hi Guys, here are the first ever pics of the new GTT Alloy Header Tank (also known as the expansion tank) plus GTT Ninja Throwing star alloy style cap for the MCS. Both products are available seperatley . This allows people to purchase the cap first, (also fits the stock plastic tank) then the tank later if they want to.
GTT MCS HEADER TANK spec:-
-Milled ,turned and fabricated from thick wall alloy tube, top sections turned from solid 6082T6 alloy
- Internal GTT design baffle plate prevents airlocks
-No visable welds on the main tank. (We weld up inside, more difficult, but looks so much better)
- Direct replacment for stock plastic item.- NB The version shown is for the GTT300T the 'normal' one is identical except for the mounting brackets/lugs, which will match the original mountings
- Mirror polished ,plus clear powder coat for a tough & durable finish with lots of depth, that cannot corrode/tarnish.

GTT MCS NINJA CAP
-CNC milled & turned from solid
- The OEM cap complete with its integral pressure release valve simply clips (no glue or screws required) into the GTT cap. The reason we did have produced it this way is to ensure the operation is standard (good for warranty claims eg. you blow a head gasket and no dealer can use the 'non standard cap/valve as a scapegoat. In effect the GTT cap is a just a very nice cover for the stock cap
-Mirror polished, copper, bright nickel & chrome plated. Stays looking a billion dollars good forever.

...I knew you would ask that I'll come up with prices next week.
Incidently this product is actually a good upgrade for the stock item for improved reliability too. As you know the stock item leaks /splits sometimes. The worst example we've seen was an (unmodified) MCS that came in with a head gasket failure last year. On attempting to remove the header tank cap, the top half of the tank came off in my hand ! -It had completly detached itself from the bottem half -I'll try and dig it out and put a pic up of it.
Oh.. and there will be a matching relacement oil filler cap too. (complete cap not a cover)

i was gonna have a minispeed one fitted when i came up roland as i could'nt see one on your site, so looks like i will be having one of these. put me down for one seeing as i need a coolant change anyway.

So this part has also been known to fault, as well as the heater matrix. Very interested to see how the coolant system holds up when you are using your electric pump - have you used it yet?

Can you do the expansion tank in powder coated red? (it's my theme for anything connected to the cooling system) anything air based i am trying to keep as blue.

-The tank will be £119+vat
-The cap £34+vat.
-Tank & cap purchased together £149+vat
-New OEM cap/valve should you want one £5+vat (we will clip into the GTT cap 4u)
-Special colours eg. Red, Black, Blue ,Yellow £10+vat extra.
