Offline | New GTT (MCS) Exhaust Tips +pics, now in stock! Hi Guys, ok Im going to make an initial batch of 20 sets, the design will be along the following lines:- -3" slash cut tips (ie similar to the Miltek look) -Mirror polished S316 Stainless (ie better than the Miltek look , as S316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel cannot tarnish, so stays shinier without tarnishing)- The end 3 or 4 inches of the stock pipes need cutting back (otherwise it will look horrible from the back)-. Should be able to do this in situ. though. -Im hoping to be able to achieve clamp on tips, so cross fingers no welding! -all tig welding for a proper job. -Clamp and instructions provided. Hoping to have them ready by end April- Mid May. If youir interested put your name down on the other thread by Mikeymini in the Group Buy Forum. Your not commited to buying ,and theres no deposits required. Best Regards Roland GTT Last edited by roland2003 : Jun 14th, 2007 at 07:08 AM. |

Offline | Excellent - I've put my name down on the list - can wait to see the pics - really like the look of the milltek exhaust - just thought it was a lot of money for not much extra gain over the one-ball route. MY05 MINI COOPER S - DS/B - GTT OPTIMISED- THANKS FOR THE RIDE - ENTER THE R56 JCW |

Offline | Doesn't make sense mate - Roland, stated in his premilinary design spec that his new tips will be based on the Milltek tip design just better grade material. So from a looks perspective you won't be gaining much - that said - the more the merrier - hopefully the more people that buy the cheaper they will be to buy! ![]() MY05 MINI COOPER S - DS/B - GTT OPTIMISED- THANKS FOR THE RIDE - ENTER THE R56 JCW |

Offline | Hi, Im not sure they'll fit the JCW exhaust, but we will have a look. Update.... ok the first set will be completed by end of next week. I'll put up pics asap. We were going to make 20 sets initially, however I think we have enough material to make a few extra.? There is a thread on 'Group Buy Forum' if your interested. Best Regards Roland GTT ![]() |

Offline | Roland, They look great, a few questions..... Will they affect the sound of the exaust much? If so, how? Is it a clamp on design now? [no welding required] Any idea how much? Again, great work ![]() |
