New tanks have to be used due to new locations/mounting method of both tanks plus revised inlet/outlet tail positions.

I an showing interest as i ma genuinely interested, if it does come out too expensive for me, then i will just stick my headowrk and cams etc as already planned.

But the benefits of the turbo conversion over modded SC are more than just the headline figure, the drivability and torque will be there. my only concern with this is that the standard clutch may not be up to it.

Do you have an idea of what the torque will be on this set up Roland

Hi Ant, this is one reason we will fit the conversion to a standard car (with std clutch) to see how it copes. My guess is if the clutch is in good order and your not agressive on pullaway (which puts alot of heat in the clutch causing slip through the gears) if should be OK.
We had a stock clutch in our car with 'almost' GTT260 spec for a while.....it was fine, but as I say traffic light grand prixs are not recommended. If we find it needs the Exedy then we will fit it afterwards..

Very interested Roland send me the details.

Drag racing from the lights with a standard clutch is a big no no.

I’d love to be on the list but would loose vital parts of my anatomy I'll stop filling your thread now ...

i am interested in this, but not right away; i wont be one of the five.

I've just bought my first house so explaining to the mrs where £xxxx has gone under the bonnet of a car i now only use at weekends wont be easy. Gimmie a year and ill be on the phone

Will keep a look out for prices, as thats the show stopper right away.

Mark

im sure it will, i have a lot of respect for GTT's bespoke parts & workmanship, which cant be said for alot of "tuners" out there.

anyway, short term....intercooler to keep me happy through the warmer months (these cold days are great, my mini is flying)

Thanks Mark. This new forum is great, it keeps all the new GTT product releases neatly together aswell, so its nice and easy to find more info on each product than is available even our own website. It also reminds me which ones we havnt even added to our website yet aswell
