Another satisfied GTT customer

Just wanted to say thanks to Roland at GTT, i finally got round to having my ATE big brake kit fitted along with the bottom brace to compliment my top brace. Also whilst i was there had spiroslot rear discs fitted and a +3% pulley to smooth things out!

I am very pleased with the car now and most impressed with GTT, nice people and everything works well. Brakes also look great, the car looks faster even standing still!

My only worry now is where will it all end!!!!

I've been eyeing his brake kit. I just wish that the pound to dollar rate wasn't 2:1.

Glad to hear that you are loving it.

Good to hear of another satisfied customer

Did you need spacers for the brake kit or do the GP wheels fit as standard.

Needed spacers, Roland had to make up a futher thin set whilst i was there to get 2 mm of clearance on the caliper. Then a set of his long wheel nuts and all sorted.

You notice much of a difference with the (lightened crank?) pulley change?

Not a huge difference, but it is noticeable, gives a bigger ummph when overtaking etc., bear in mind all i had fitted was the pulley. Well at the moment! I will be back!

I think so, but "worth the money" is a difficult one to answer. My wife would not agree that it is worth the money thats for sure!

Definitely got more mid range ummph now though!

LOL I know that feeling... Increased mid range is exactly what Im after !

Any suggestions for other mods to improve the midrange? Gonna go to GTT some time over the summer so was thinking what else could be done when Im down there in addition to the crank pulley..

get the Cold Air Intake, and then the exhaust manifold system. You'll see a good improvement then.

There are many small parts you can enhance to slowly make up the whole. Your best approach is to talk it through with Roland.

I'm lazy, i just went for everything at once

PS. Yes, Roland and John are nice chaps

Cheers,
K.

You need to have a chat with Roland, he has a lot of really good stuff. Just depends on how deep your pockets are... or how much you want to spend.

I have done my brakes now and added the strut bracing to the front end, so now we can add some more power!!

Want to keep the engine bay looking as stock as possible - perhaps the JCW/GTT hybrid filter may be the way to go... then get the manifold ! A call to Roland sounds like the best option...

No problem Roland, a pleasure doing business. The war dept hasn't spotted a thing or asked any tricky questions!! I will return very soon.
